Andrei Khrenov holds academic degrees from the Institute of Cinematography in Moscow and from New York University (Cinema Studies). He is the author of a brochure on American experimental film (Moscow: AGSI, 2000) and of articles in Russian and US periodicals. His current work involves a historical survey of American experimental film.
